Schizachyrium scoparium | Little Bluestem

Lovely ornamental grass has upright, arching green foliage with blue colouration most prominent toward the base. Purplish flowers rise above the foliage in late summer, becoming plumes of tan seed heads in fall. Very decorative; adds interest to mixed borders. Ideal naturalized.
