Deschampsia cespitosa | Tufted Hair Grass

This upright, open, cool-season grass forms a tight clump of dark green, hair-thin leaves. Nodding, airy plumes rise above the foliage in summer, then turn a lovely mix of hues in fall. The plumes are ideal for use in fresh or dried arrangements.
