Eryngium yuccifolium | Rattlesnake Master
Known by the colourful common name of Rattlesnake Master, this native perennial produces rosettes of narrow, bristly-edged, sword-shaped green leaves that resemble those of yucca. Tiny, stemless, greenish-white flowers are tightly packed into showy 1-inch globular heads. Commonly found in tall grass prairies, it thrives in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils and full sun.
