Eupatorium purpureum | Joe Pye Weed
This large growing, native perennial thrives in moist, well- drained soils and full sun to partly shady sites. Clump-forming and upright in habit, it produces masses of pale pink flowers in summer that are highly attractive to butterfiles. Attractive looking seed heads follow the flowers and persist into winter.
